Non-profit organization is primarily focused on the preparation and implementation of projects supported by various sources, including funds of the European Union, the Slovak development assistance, multilateral projects such as UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organisation), foundations, Agency for Science and Research and so on.
PROVENTUS is primarily focusing on projects in environmental protection, promoting eco-efficient technologies, energy efficiency, information exchange and in area for minimize waste and emissions into the environment.
One of the many tools used to achieve aims of non-profit organization is a cleaner production and energy efficiency with which its staff have many years of experience. All professionals in the past worked or are still active in the company SCPC (founder of the non-profit organization), which is one of the oldest members of the international network of organizations created by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development) and UNEP (United Nations Program for Environment).
PROVENTUS carry out education and training activities. Currently, non-profit organization accredited by the Ministry of Education two educational activities:
- Ecoefficiency in company - introduction into cleaner production (8 hours)
- Implementation of ecoefficiency and ecoinovation in the enterprise (24 hours)
Graduates, upon successful completion of training receive a certificate of qualification with nationwide effect, which is issued for an indefinite period.
